Reasonable Faith In An Uncertain World
Do you ever find yourself thinking, “I know I believe in Christianity, but I’m not sure about whether it makes sense?” Or, have you found yourself thinking, “I know Christianity is nonsense”, but you’ve never really investigated it for yourself?
If either of these describes you, then we invite you to join us for “Reasonable Faith”, a seminar presented at Cedar Hill Baptist Church this November. This 2 day event will cover topics that matter, such as:
Christians say God is good and powerful. If so, why is there so much evil in the world?
Christians and Muslims both say that they are the only way to God. They seem so much alike to me so why do they make such a fuss about their differences?
It looks like everywhere religion spreads, women are more oppressed, minorities suffer and violence increases. Aren’t we better off without religion?
My Christian friends say that Jesus rose from the dead. From my perspective, the evidence is sketchy, there are conflicting stories and it seems very unlikely to me.
These and other topics will be discussed. Please consider joining us; we know you will find it valuable.
