HINTS OF HOPE IN REDEMPTIVE HISTORY

In the coming of Jesus, God has not only been faithful to Israel, but merciful to the Gentiles. And the reality of God's intention that the kingdom of the Messiah would extend to the nations is clearly evident in Matthew's gospel from its opening genealogy.
