Part 8: Acts 4:1-22. Proclaiming Jesus and the Resurrection not only brought about increased opportunity for ministry but also increased opposition to ministry. Peter and John are the first to experience both incarceration and intimidation for the name of Jesus. Speaking before the Jewish Council, Peter boldly declares that it was Jesus, whom they rejected and God raised, that brought healing to the lame man, and neither threat nor persecution will stop them from proclaiming the name of Jesus.
