REPLACING THE BETRAYER

Jun 6, 2021    Larry Green    Part 3: Acts 1:12-26

No figure in the Gospel narratives raises more theological and practical questions than Judas—the member of the twelve who became the betrayer of Jesus. Replacing Judas is the only activity recorded as taking place between the Ascension and the sending of the Spirit at Pentecost. Luke provides this account for us, giving us additional insight into this imposter and his role in the storyline of redemption.
