WHEN GOD SAYS, "THE PARTY'S OVER!"

The fifth chapter of Daniel describes the downfall of Babylon, as a city and as the dominant world power in their day. And unlike his predecessor, Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar did not learn the lesson of humility, but brazenly and defiantly exalted himself above the King of Heaven. But the "hand writing on the wall" clearly informed the king that his day of reckoning and had come, as it will for all who exalt themselves in pride.
